HSA Wednesday Mail
October 23, 2019
We are searching for our military veterans that are a part of our HSA family. We would like to serve you and your student breakfast on Monday, November 11th at 7:30 AM. Then we would like to recognize you at our school wide assembly at 8:15 AM. We will be pairing all veterans up with a classroom teacher, and we would love for you to spend about 15 minutes of your time reading a book and answering questions.
A letter went home last week, so please send in the bottom portion of the form. You can also email Ms. Markham at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have downloaded the app and want your 2019-2020 totals to be added to your child’s class, please email Michelle at email@example.com. Send her a screenshot of your totals with your child’s name, grade and section included so their class can get credit! It will look something like this:
For the remainder of the year, if you don’t want to download the Box Tops app, you can email your receipts to her with your child’s info. She is amazing and keeping track of all of this for the PTO.
Our goal for the year is $1,000 and we need everyone’s help to meet it! Talk with your family and friends and see if they can help! Every single one adds up!

PTO Fall Festival Info
The PTO’s annual Fall Festival will be held Friday, November 8th from 6-8 PM. It will be a blast, as always! We can’t wait!
If you’re new to HSA-FW this year, here is what you need to know! Pre-sale wristbands will be available before and after school the week of the event for $7 each. Wristbands will be sold the night of the event and will be $10 each. The wristbands include all the games and activities, but do not include food. Food is separate but all prices are reasonable and there should be something for everyone! Bonus: all of those proceeds will go back to HSA-FW (the Spirit Squad, the PTO, etc.)
*You should be receiving requests for help from your child’s teacher(s). We really depend on all parents to keep this great event going so if you haven’t received anything, shoot them an email and ask them if there is a way you can help. It will be worth it!
*Thank you again, Doria Delgado for your amazing flyers!
If you would like to be a vendor at the Fall Festival, these forms were sent home and need to be turned in THIS WEEK!!! We would love to support all HSA families & their businesses!
Art Auction – Fall Festival
Thank you to everyone who came to Chuck E. Cheese last week! It was so awesome to see all the kids, parents & teachers living their best life.
As you know, we have the Fall Festival coming up on November 8th!! We really need all PTO parents to step up and help if possible. This truly is the best event and the kids have so much fun! It’s also a great night to get to know other parents. Please see the SignUpGenius to see how you can help:
If you are not a PTO parent, never fear, there are still ways you can help. You should have been emailed by your child’s teacher asking for help at the Fall Festival. We did 20 minute shifts again this year which leaves time for everyone to be with their families as well as help our school. Please check in with them if you haven’t heard anything and see how you can help. We want our school to have a culture of service and community – BE A PART OF IT!
*A special thanks to all of those that have already signed up. We see you!
